UCSB participates in the program's first College Bridge Bowl

Andrew Rowberg, Danning Lu, Michael Swift, Nicholas Adamski, Carol Tsai, and Jon Martin played for UCSB in Atlanta in the 2018 College Bridge Bowl after earning a participation travel package to the competition. UCSB performed admirably in the group phase before petering out a bit toward the conclusion. Still, the team qualified for the championship knockout before losing to eventual champion UC Berkeley. In the inaugural Collegiate Individual Competition, Andrew won first place and a $2,000 scholarship! The results give reason for optimism in the years to come for UCSB’s young bridge program.
